Among its major pieces of equipment are a 60" slitter, 72" leveler, a 60" tension leveler and a 60" precision blanker. In 1999, the branch doubled the size of its facility to increase its master coil inventory and to provide the necessary space to store finished goods in accommodating customer just-in-time delivery needs.

Just South of Milwaukee, one mile east of Interstate 94 in the suburb of Oak Creek, Steel Warehouse located its first branch facility in 1974. Under the direction of Jim Lerman (right) the efforts of over 50 employees on a 10 acre, 130,000 square-foot facility, Steel Warehouse of Milwaukee processes light to medium-gauge, surface-critical carbon steel to include slitting, cut to length, precision blanking and shearing in support of upper Midwest manufacturers.

Mainstays of Milwaukee's operations are the precision blanks and cut-to-length sheets it produces for customers requiring surface-critical, tight tolerance material.
